Getting Published on Groom+Style

All articles need to comply with the publishing policies of Groom+Style. The key requirements are that the content needs to be original (articles will be checked via copyscape) and no external links are allowed for the purposes of SEO.

The guidelines differ slightly based on the type of submission – Informative articles, tutorials, or entertainment/showcases.

A) Articles

In case you are aiming to submit a discussion or informative article that features more text than images:

• Please include an introduction, body and conclusion
• Subtitle the main point and elaborate
• Make sure the article is 1500+ words, proof read, entertaining and informative

B) Tutorials/tips

We’ve always loved tutorials. Please aim to make them reader-friendly:

• Make sure you do not go overboard i.e. less than 30 steps
• Include a download link and/or demo link where relevant
• Credit the link or image sources back to the website where they were obtained

C) Showcases

A picture says a thousand words. If you want to write an entertaining showcase of great illustrations or images, follow these guidelines:

• Submit images and illustrations in a separate zipped file, which should be properly named
• All images should be shared in the highest possible resolution.
• Credit all the image sources and link them back to the web page where they were sourced
• In case the showcase features tools, plugins or apps, include their download links in the tutorial

In addition our editors love when writers follow some other basic guidelines. You can score more browny points in your submissions by back linking to previously published articles on Groom+Style. It is also recommended to standardize image widths at more than 600 pixels with landscape orientation.

Publishing Policy

It is worth mentioning that our editors have always been big fans of original, unbiased and high quality content. We accept fact-checked, well-written, knowledge-based articles from talented authors. Every submission on the website needs to go through a review by the editors at Groom+Style prior to publication.  Once an author’s article is accepted, it will be edited where required, and the final version shown to the author before final publication.

Groom+Style does make payments for articles published on our website, unless of course the writer wants to submit an article without receiving payment. Published content needs to be the original work of the writer – advertisers, sponsors or other publishers should NOT have any influence over the opinions, recommendations and advice in the published article.

Our editors make every efforts to ensure none of the articles on our website are illegally produced or have standardized copyrights from other sources. However, if there’s a situation that requires action to be taken, we will remove the published article from Groom+Style. Groom+Style have a very strict policy against plagiarism and other issues around the misuse of content.

Materials for Publication

The primary objective of our website is to provide readers with informative, entertaining and accurate content. Groom+Style will make every endeavor to ensure its content is free from third-party influences, so the following content will not be published:
